RIFF (Refrain, looped phrase). Representation of the rhythmic tension of weaving machines. The frames tell and repeat a story as if they were a melodic pattern. The magnetic tapes flow like threads in a frame, animated by a thought printed like the texture of a fabric. Installation made with three Telefunken TFK M15A, connected together as a textile loom. Recorders and players, to preserve the memory but also to spread it, return it and unraveling it as the front and back sides of the fabric. Music Art of Noise.
